Adam Snider is a writer and poet who lives and works in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Adam’s work focuses on the city and its people. Adam has performed his work in a number of venues around Edmonton. Some of these venues include Kasbar Lounge and hulbert’s. Other locations have included pubs, cafes and coffee shops, an empty storefront, and a small apartment in downtown Edmonton.
Adam’s work has been featured on CBC Radio, and the Raving Poets Podcast. He has been published in the CBC Alberta Anthology, the University of Alberta’s Gateway, and Edmontonplus.ca. A frequent performer on the Raving Poets stage, Adam is also a supporter of the Roar Festival of Spoken Word. Adam’s Roar performances include a reading during the finale of the inaugural Roar on 124 (with Bill Bourne and the Raving Poets Band), and drunken participation in Mingus Tourette’s “Big Ugly” Poetry Sweatshop at the 2006 Roar.
