I’m no fan of Michael Bay, but referring to the man as being “like Hitler” seems just a tad over-the-top. And yet, Megan Fox was content to do just that in a recent interview.
As you might suspect, Michael Bay actually has a lot of people who are friends and/or fans. Those include members of his film crew from the two Transformers movies.
Some of those crew members didn’t exactly take kindly to Ms. Fox’s comments, and wrote a rather nasty open letter in which they bash the “star” for being unprofessional and ungrateful (among other things):
Michael found this shy, inexperienced girl, plucked her out of total obscurity thus giving her the biggest shot of any young actresses’ life. He told everyone around to just trust him on his choice. He granted her the starring role in Transformers, a franchise that forever changed her life; she became one of the most googled and oogled women on earth. She was famous! She was the next Angelina Jolie, hooray! Wait a minute, two of us worked with Angelina – second thought – she’s no Angelina. You see, Angelia is a professional.
I honestly don’t know why I find this so amusing. Normally, I couldn’t care less about celebrity gossip. But, for some reason, I find this absolutely hilarious.
Perhaps it’s the fact that Megan Fox represents everything that’s wrong about our celebrity-obsessed culture, so seeing someone attempt to humble her a bit reminds me that not everyone is a vapid celebrity worshiper.
