Condo Shopping

I’m going to look at condos tomorrow. For the moment, I’m only looking at one building (several units within that building, though). I will look at more in the future, of course, but this is a start. Despite the fact that the building is an apartment convert (as are 99% of the condos in my price range), I’m pretty excited to see what it’s like.
It likely won’t be anything fancy, but it will give me an idea of what type of unit my money will be able to buy. Besides, no matter what sort of unit I end up buying, I’m looking forward to painting it, renovating it, and generally “making it mine.” I don’t necessarily want something that’s in “perfect” shape anyway. If I can get something that is good, but not great, then it will be easier for me to put in a little bit of work and flip the place for a profit in a couple of years (when I am, hopefully, making more money, and able to upgrade to a bigger/better place).
I’ll let you know how it goes. If anyone out there is interested, I’ll also let you know the name of the realtor I’m working with, so that you can get in touch with him and do your own shopping (I know a couple of you are getting interested in buying a condo, so I’ll let you know).
