Firefox 2.0

For those of you who may have been unaware, Firefox 2.0 has been released. It has a number of new features, including a built-in spell checker for use in web forums and CMS applications. For a guy who tends to think faster than his fingers can move, this is a nice feature. For those of your who don’t like wavy red lines, the spell checker can be disabled (Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Check my spelling as I type).
So far, the worst thing I can say is that I don’t like how each tab has its own close button. This isn’t really a design flaw, though, it’s merely something that I’m not used to yet. In all fairness, once I do get used to it, I’ll probably prefer it to the old system. I can’t count the number of times I’ve accidentally clicked the “close tab” button one or two times too many and closed tabs that I didn’t want to close.
