Foiled Again!

I have an idea for an online business that I think could do fairly well after it gets going. The cost to me would be minimal (other than time), and the payoff would, potentially, be pretty good. Probably not good enough that I could quit my day job, but well enough that I’d have extra beer money to spend.
Unfortunately, the domain I wanted to use for this business is already in use. Both the .com and the .net are already being used. One is just being held by a domainer, so I might be able to get it for a decent price, but that’s hard to tell. The .org extension is available, though, so I might go with that, and see if I can’t score the .com and .net extensions in the future.
I’ll reveal my idea when I get things off the ground (hopefully, in the next few weeks).

I would take a .org over a .net any day.
Fair enough. But, I think the average user is more likely to look for .net than they are for .org. Of course, .com would ideal, since the .com extension is practically a brand of it’s own, in a lot of people’s eyes. Dot-com is the internet, for most people.
