I’m On the Road

By the time you read this, I’ll already be on the road. The road trip plans didn’t quite end up going the way I’d expected, but I’m going nonetheless. It looks like it’s just me and my youngest brother, Chris. That’s cool, though. It’ll give us a chance to do some brotherly bonding. We don’t really ever hangout with just the two of us–partly because he only recently turned 18, and couldn’t come out to a lot of things that my other brother was able to.
There is no specific driving plan in mind. We’re going to be hitting as many small towns as we can in one or two days. We have no real destination in mind, and I have no idea where we’ll go. I think Leduc will be a good place to start, if only because it’s easy to get there, and I don’t feel like getting lost on the way to the very first stop (and, yes, I have a road map of Alberta).
I will probably send some text messages to Twitter throughout the day, if only to say what town we’re in at that moment. If you want to follow the road trip live, then you might want to consider if you have something better to do on a gorgeous Saturday in July. If you’ve got nothing better to do, you can follow the updates by watching the sidebar here on Ink Slinger, or by watching my Twitter page. If you do have better things to do, but still want to track our progress, you can always sign-up to have Twitter send updates to your cell phone.
