Life is Good

If you’re a regular reader, or if you just happen to know me, you’ll know that I’ve gone through some pretty rough shit in the past year–my grandmother passed away, I got dumped by my fiancé, I killed a man in Reno just to watch him die… OK, so maybe that last one wasn’t me, but I’ve been having a bit of a rough go lately. Despite that, life is good. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been more satisfied with my life than I am right now.
Sure, there are things that I’d like to change. Things can always improve. But, I’m really enjoying my life. I’ve got good friends, a decent job, I can afford good food and good drink, and I still think that this city is a damn fine place to live. I’m happy, and I just felt like sharing that.

Now that’s what I like to hear
That truly warms my heart. It’s so much easier said than done when a person tries to consider the good aspects of life even in the midst of some bad things happening in their life, but when they do, it’s the most satisfying feeling in the world.
Great attitude, this means everything.
