Offline!

I’m moving today. In fact, in just a few hours, I should be all settled into the new apartment (which, by the way, is fantastic; I finally got to take a look at it yesterday, and I think I like it more than this one, even though it’s obviously smaller due to the fact that it’s only a 1-bedroom). This means that I will be without an Internet connection for at least a day (unless I can steal wireless from one of my neighbours).
Basically, I forgot to tell Shaw that I was moving, so I’ve only just today arranged to have my services transfered. I requested that it be done tomorrow, but that probably won’t happen, because I didn’t give them enough notice.
So, essentially, this means that, if you need to contact me, phone and/or text me. You’ll have to use my cell, since my other phone is VOIP (and, I’m actually thinking about cancelling it anyway…why do I need 2 phones?). It also means, of course, that I won’t be blogging for a few days (again, unless I can leech off of one of my neighbours until my service gets connected at the new place).

Yeah, everything has gone smoothly, thanks Mike. Hell, I even have cable/internet! I’m not sure if they’ve actually transfered the services, or if they just haven’t disconnected the previous tenant’s service yet. I’m assuming the latter, since the cable company hasn’t phoned me yet. Either way, I’m online, which is nice, since I apparently get an obscene number of emails even on the weekend.
