Stuck Inside on a Gorgeous Day

It’s an absolutely gorgeous day outside, but I’m not able to enjoy it. I’ll be stuck inside doing housework for most of the night. Why, you may ask, would I choose to do housework on an evening such as this? Because the landlord is coming into my apartment to do an inspection tomorrow. The owner of the property is coming to do a full inspection of the building, which means that it would be best if my suite doesn’t look like a disaster zone.
I mean, if I really wanted, I could probably ignore the mess and just go enjoy the day, but I really don’t like the idea of strangers seeing my filth. And so, I clean. Luckily, it’s mostly just vacuuming and cleaning the shower. With a little luck, I should be done in time to go for a nice walk before sunset.
On the plus side, I do have to go to the mall for a little while tonight, so at the very least I’ll get to go for an evening drive.
